Water Conservation District
Covering portions of Tom Green, Concho and Runnels Counties
                   District Mission

The Lipan-Kickapoo Water  Conservation  District strives to develop,  promote  and  implement  water conservation  and  management
strategies to conserve,  preserve, and protect the groundwater supplies of the district,  to protect and enhance recharge,  prevent waste
and pollution,  and to   effect  the efficient,  beneficial  and  wise use of water for the benefit of  the citizens  and  economy of  the District.   
The District seeks to  protect  the owners of  water rights within the District  from impairment of their  groundwater  quality  and  quantity
within the District, pursuant to the powers and duties granted under Chapter 36, Sub chapter D of the Texas Water Code.

The Lipan-Kickapoo Water Conservation District
Board of Directors will meet in regular session at
the district office located in the Post Office Building
at 9538 York Road, In Vancourt, Texas on
September 6, 2017 at 7:30 AM.  The purpose of the
meeting is to adopt a proposed budget for FY
2017-18 and to consider adopting a proposed tax
rate of 0.0104 cents per $100 property valuation
which is the current tax rate.  The proposed tax rate
would increase total taxes in the Lipan-Kickapoo
WCD by 7.5%.
